1. Whom should I approach if I want to find out more about continuing my studies in SRMC?

For information on furthering your studies with SRMC, you may fill up the Progression Enquiry Form via this link. Our consultants will be able to advise you on the most suitable pathway and course to pursue.

2. I am still not sure which course to continue and I need someone to guide me on which course would be suitable for me and my career advancement.

We believe that all of our students should be given the opportunity to pursue further.

Kindly fill up the Progression Enquiry Form via this link so that we could guide you on the administrative procedures to register for the next course, tuition fees, intake dates, student pass matters and whether you are eligible to gain admission with your latest qualifications achieved. Our consultants will be able to advise you on the most suitable pathway and course to pursue.

3. When are the examination results released?

Results for all courses are released 2 months after the last examination for the semester.

All results will be released online via the IMS platform.

If you do not receive your results 2 months after the last examination, please contact our student service personnel at ss@srmc.edu.sg

4. When are the certificates & transcripts released?

For Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses, the certificates and transcripts will be released 3 months after the last examination for the term.

For undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, the certificates and transcripts will be released about 4 months after the last examination for the term. This is dependent on the delivery of the certificates from UK, which would take additional time.

If you do not receive notification regarding the collection of certificate and transcript 4 months after the last examination, please contact our student service personnel at ss@srmc.edu.sg

5. How do I know if I am eligible to progress to the next course?

6. What is the application procedure to apply and progress to the next course?

Please fill up the Progression Enquiry Form via this link. You will have to submit your Progression Enquiry Form and ICA processing fee (only for international students).

7. What are the attendance requirements for international students and Singaporean/Permanent Residents students?

International students are required to achieve a minimum attendance rate of 90% for renewal of your student pass.

Singaporean/Permanent Residents students must attain a minimum attendance rate of 80%.

8. How do I renew my student’s pass?

Please fill up the Progression Enquiry Form via this link. Our consultants will be able to advise you on the student pass renewal matters.

9. How long does it take for the student’s pass to be approved?

The average processing time for the application of the student’s pass is 3-4 weeks. We encourage students to submit their Progression Enquiry Form 1 week after results released.

10. Do I have to do a medical examination upon receiving approval of my student’s pass?

Students will be advised to do a medical examination according to their In-Principle-Approval letter.

11. How do I make my course fee payment?

Payment can be made via the following modes: Cash, SGD Cheque, Cashier’s order, Bank Draft, Telegraphic transfer, GIRO, DBS/POSB ATM, DBS Internet Banking and Flywire (for International Students only) – International Electronic Transfer, e.g. Credit Card, Bank Transfer, Alipay etc.

12. I am in my final semester of the Advanced Diploma in Music and I wish to progress to UWL Level 6 programmes. What are some academic points I should take note of?

Most importantly, you should ensure that you have submitted all your assignments on time. The marking and moderation process for assessments take time. Hence, by submitting your assignments on time, you are allowing the college to release the results to you accurately and timely. This will then enable you to enrol into UWL Level 6 programmes on time. Failure to submit any of your assignments would mean that your results are delayed and you will not be able to progress.

You should also take note that you can only progress to UWL Level 6 programmes if you have passed all your modules and have attained the required number of credits. You would be required to go for a re-assessment if you had failed a module. If you had failed a module in your final semester, you may not be able to complete your re-assessment in time for enrolment into UWL Level 6 programmes. This will cause a delay in your academic studies. Hence, students are advised to pay close attention to their academic studies, and to seek academic counselling early should they be facing difficulties completing their assignments. 

Please approach staff from the academic department if you have doubts regarding your academic progress.

13. I am in my final semester of the UWL BMUS Performance Level 6 and I wish to progress to UWL MMUS Programme. What are some academic points I should take note of?

Most importantly, you should ensure that you have submitted all your assignments on time. The marking and moderation process for UWL assessments take time. Hence, by submitting your assignments on time, you are allowing the college to confirm the results to you accurately and timely. This will then enable you to enrol into UWL MMUS programme on time. Failure to submit any of your assignments would mean that your results are delayed and you will not be able to progress.

Students in UWL BMUS Performance Level 6 programme are required to attain a 2:1 for their degree in order to progress into UWL MMUS programme. Students are only able to ascertain the classification of their degree award if they have successfully submitted all their assignments and have passed all their modules. Hence, it is crucial for students to submit their assignments on time and to pass the modules in order to progress to UWL MMUS programme.

14. I am in my final semester of the UWL BMUS Performance & Recording Level 6 and I wish to progress to UWL MMUS Programme. What are some academic points I should take note of?

Hence, by submitting your assignments on time, you are allowing the college to confirm the results to you accurately and timely. This will then enable you to enrol into UWL MMUS programme on time. Students in UWL BMUS Performance & Recording Level 6 programme are required to attain a 2:1 for their degree in order to progress into UWL MMUS programme. Additionally, students are also required to submit an audition consisting of 35 – 40 min recording of their performance. Students have to pass the audition in order to progress to the UWL MMUS programme.
