Graduates will receive a Certificate in Music conferred by Singapore Raffles Music College. You will have:
- A performance proficiency equivalent to the London College of Music (LCM)/Trinity Guild Hall/ABRSM Grade 6 or better in your chosen principal study,
- A music theory proficiency equivalent to the London College of Music (LCM)/Trinity Guild Hall/ABRSM Grade 5 or better.
- At least 15 years old
- Completed Secondary 4 (for local students), Junior Middle School, or its international equivalent
- Pass SRMC’s Audition
- Take SRMC’s Music Theory Placement Test (The Music Theory Placement Test Guide can be found here)
- Meet English Language Requirements
Audition
- Instrumentalists: 3 – 6 minutes performance, TWO pieces from contrasting periods
- Classical Vocal Singers: 3 – 6 minutes performance, THREE songs
- Pop Vocal/Contemporary Instrumentalists: 3 – 6 minutes performance, THREE pop songs (any language)
As a guide, repertoire presented should be of Grade 6 standard.
English Language Requirements
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 4.0, or
- GCE ‘N’ / ‘O’ Level English Language – Grade C or above, or
- SRMC’s English Placement Test, or
- Qualifications on Entry provided by student were undertaken in the English Language, or
- Duolingo English Test score of 60, or
- TOEFL iBT score of 20, or
- Other English Language Proficiency Tests – will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Students will undertake the following modules during their course of study. Each module is worth 20 modular credits.

In Budget 2022, the Minister for Finance of Singapore announced that the Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate will be increased from:
(i) 7% to 8% with effect from 1 Jan 2023; and
(ii) 8% to 9% with effect from 1 Jan 2024.
